The PastPerfect Software Knowledge Base is designed to allow PastPerfect users to solve common issues and answer frequent questions in addition to the information found in the User’s Guide. There are two ways you can use the Knowledge Base: searching or browsing.
Searching
The Knowledge Base is equipped with a keyword search that allows you to type in the word or phrase you are looking for. Let’s say you'd like to find more information about how enter couples into your Contacts database. Enter the keyword "couples" in the Keyword field in the center of the main page or in the top right corner of the Knowledge Base, then hit the “Enter” key on your keyboard. Any Knowledge Base articles containing that keyword will appear in the Search Results.
*Note: For best results, use complete words when searching. For example, instead of searching for “invn,” search for “inventory.” When searching for error messages, if the error number does not return any results, try searching for part of the text of the message.
Browsing
Begin by selecting a category, e.g. "PastPerfect 5.0 & PastPerfect 4.0." You will then be taken to a list of all the sections and articles pertaining to that software.
*Note - Some Knowledge Base articles have attached files and/or documents. File attachments are located at the bottom of an article's page.
