Before creating memberships for contacts and entering dues payments, you will need to set up your Membership Types and possibly Membership SubTypes in Contacts Settings.
- Go to "Settings" on the Main Navigation Bar.
- Click "Contacts Settings".
- Click the "New Type" button next to Membership Types on the Setup Contacts screen.
- Enter the Membership Type, Code, and Dues Amount.
- Membership Type and Code are required fields. Codes can be used to group multiple membership types for accounting purposes.
- Click "Save".
- Repeat for additional membership types.
- If your organization has membership subtypes, click "New Membership SubType" and add the name and codes for each subtype.
