Applies to: PastPerfect Online add-on for Version 5.0
The hyperlink to a record page in your search results will be the first two fields selected to display for that record type. You can choose which fields to publish and the order in which those fields appear on the Select Fields to Include screen in the Web Publishing Wizard.
The link beneath the image in Random Images depends on the first display field for that record type (Objects, Photos, Archives, Library, etc.). Usually, the first field in the display order will appear as the link. However, if the field is empty, the text “View Record” will display instead.
There are 10 possible record types for PastPerfect Online: Object, Photo, Archive, Library, People, Creator, Search Term, Container List, Site, and Image records. You'll notice these 10 types when you're in the Web Publishing Wizard, selecting which files you want publish, etc. The record types are also displayed in the upper left corner of the record page online.
Keep in mind that you can have a different first field for each record type. For instance, you might want “Collection” to be the first field for Archive records, “Title” to be the first field for Library records, and “Object Name” to be the first field for Object records.
